改造路德會呂祥光幼稚園的遊戲區域時，我們特別注重遊玩設施對小朋友的成長發展。疫情期間，許多小朋友都轉為在家學習，這無形中減少了他們與同齡人接觸的機會，從而影響了社交技能的發展。除了書本知識，群體生活對小朋友的情感發展、溝通能力及問題解決技巧都非常重要。滑梯、攀石牆和積木牆洞洞版等都可以加強小朋友與伙伴們之間的互動，他們學會如何合作、分享和應對衝突，這些都將成為他們日後在工作和生活中不可或缺的能力。

The importance of cultivating social skills and a spirit of cooperation

When renovating the play area at the Lutheran Lui Cheung Kwong Kindergarten, we placed special emphasis on how play facilities contribute to children's growth and development. During the pandemic, many children shifted to learning from home, inadvertently reducing their opportunities for interacting with peers, consequently affecting the development of their social skills. Apart from academic knowledge, communal living is crucial for a child's emotional development, communication abilities, and problem-solving skills. Features like slides, climbing walls, and block walls with holes can enhance interaction among children and their peers, teaching them how to cooperate, share, and manage conflicts - skills that will be indispensable for their future in both work and life.
